Privacy Policy

Quiet Words is built so that there is almost nothing to write a privacy policy about. The app collects no personal data, contains no advertising, and sends nothing to us.

The short version

• We do not collect, receive, or sell any personal data.
• There are no accounts, no logins, and no tracking of any kind.
• The app contains no advertising SDK and no third-party analytics.
• Everything about your play stays on your device.

What stays on your device

Your puzzle progress, found words, hint state, settings, and a small local journal of in-app events are stored on your device and never transmitted to us. Reset Progress removes puzzle progress, found words, hints, and play-time records, but does not change app preferences or erase the local event journal. Preferences and the event journal are removed when the app’s data is deleted. We never see any of this information.

Purchases

The one-time lifetime unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple’s StoreKit framework. Apple handles payment and keeps the record of your purchase; the app only checks locally whether the unlock is active. We never receive your payment details. Loading, buying, or restoring the unlock is the only feature that requires an internet connection.

Network access

The app has no networking code of its own. Puzzles, dictionary, word meanings, and music generation are built in and work offline. The only network communication is between your device and Apple for App Store purchases, as described above.

Permissions

Quiet Words requests no device permissions — no location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or notifications.

Children

Quiet Words does not collect data from anyone, including children. The app has no chat, no user-generated content, and no external links during play.

This website

This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If you email us for support, we will use your email address only to reply, and we will not add it to any list.

Changes

If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above, we will update this policy and its effective date before that version ships. The current version of this policy always lives at this address.
